Duration: 10:00a.m.–5p.m.
Group size: 20 or below.

Content: We will take a taxi from Tai Po Market to Wu Gao Teng Village (烏蛟騰) and start hiking there. It is a two-and-a-half-hour scenic route. When we arrive at Sam Ya Village, we can have lunch there. After lunch, we will take another route to come back to Wu Gao Teng Village (烏蛟騰) where you can take a taxi to go to the city centre of Taipo.

Cost: We will split the taxi fare and the lunch.

Reminder:
1) please bring enough water and snacks
2) please wear appropriate clothes/shoes (runners or hiking shoes)
3) please bring mosquito repellant, sunglasses, sun block, etc.
4) please be on time.

元荃古道郊遊徑連接元朗及荃灣，是昔日居民往返兩地必經之路，如今放步古道之上，可以感受到當年村民如何翻山越嶺跨越大欖區。以今日的標準來看，這條古道顯然既狹窄又凹凸不平，但對當年十八鄉一帶的村民卻十分重要，因他們必須通過這裡把農作物運往荃灣的市集，以換取日常用品。古道沿途風景優美，既可飽覽青馬大橋之景色，亦可在蒼翠林蔭中漫步。

路程：起點－荃灣港安醫院，終點–經田夫仔至深井
午餐：深井新村吃燒鵝
全程時間：約4小時（由上午十時半至下午二時）
集合地點：荃灣地鐵站恒生銀行
